Water Watcher Training | Feb 1, 2020
Please join the Catawba Waterkeeper on February 1 for our first Water Watcher training of 2020!
Water Watchers are a network of volunteers who act as the eyes and ears of the Catawba. At Water Watcher trainings, Catawba Riverkeeper Brandon Jones teaches citizens how to identify, document, and report pollution. Attendees will learn about the most important local threats to water quality and what they can do help to protect their river. With over 225 miles of mainstem and 5000 square miles of river basin, the Catawba Riverkeeper needs help from people like you to advocate for our river.
This event is sponsored by The Carrie E. and Lena V. Glenn Foundation and is free to the public. Light snacks and coffee will be provided.
